Something’s Broken: Kim Phuc Presentation @ Western

Kim Phuc will be speaking to Western students next week, January 26th at 7:00pm in North Campus Building Room 101. The event is free.

Phuc is a renowned speaker and is also depicted in this famous picture (above), running away from her napalmed village in Vietnam. Sustaining physical and emotional scars from the Vietnam War and her government, Kim Phuc would struggle for years with pain, anger and bitterness.

Come and hear Kim Phuc speak about her life during, and in the aftermath of the Vietnam War, and how she was able to find hope through her pain and suffering. She will also be answering student questions.

The “Something’s Broken” presentation is organized by the Western Campus For Christ club.
